About Chair Dancing
Our adventure into chair dancing began in 2010 when the Pole Play Dancers were looking for something new to jazz up their repertoire! It was their first time ever performing in public for all of them and they did a fantastic performance to Lady Gaga at the Bristol Pole Championships (Video Coming Soon!)
They were such a success we decided to begin classes in the new year! The classes concentrate on building confidence and fitness through another alternative dance form which teaches rhythm and flow to well-known music tracks and presents the opportunity to join in any public performances the Pole Play Dancers take part in (although it is far from compulsary!)
We enjoyed chair dancing so much we wanted to share it with others in Bristol so why not come along and have a go? It's an excellent way to keep fit and make new friends and ties in brilliantly with the pole dancing classes but also works just as well as an independant form of fitness that requires just one thing to practice at home... a chair!
