Welcome to Pole Play, one of the longest running pole dancing schools in the UK! We have been running pole dancing lessons in Bristol since 2005 and are now starting chair dancing routine classes in 2011. Putting the fun back into fitness is the main aim of our pole dancing classes which cater for anyone with the enthusiasm and open mind to join these unique dance classes!

Not only are we one of the longest established pole schools in Bristol but we are also responsible for founding The PoleDivas Championships, one of the first major pole dancing competitions covering the UK and Republic of Ireland and in 2010 the first ever Bristol Pole Championships (BPC) which included 30 individual competitors in one evening's entertainment! Josephine is now the most experienced competition judge in the UK and is always happy to help out with advice to any students wishing to compete at these events.

Pole dance is one of the only forms of exercise which uses every muscle group during a work-out. When done properly it increases strength, flexibility, muscle tone and overall fitness whilst the dance aspect improves self confidence and poise.

Whether you are a newcomer to pole dance or a professional performer there is always something to be learnt from our classes so come along and have a go, perhaps you will teach us something!
